Privacy policy

Effective 19 October 2026

wever is a shared planner for event teams. This page says what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to get it changed or removed. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, the username you pick, and the company name you enter when you set up. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from them — we never see your password for those accounts.

The work you add: events (name, date, start and end times, location, description, menu and serving counts), tasks and their timings, owners and categories, packing, pack-back and shopping lists, post-event results such as plates sold and costs, and your stop / start / continue notes.

Company branding: an optional logo image and an optional brand colour, both set by an admin.

On your device: the app keeps a copy of the events you have opened, so it still works with no signal, and holds any ticks you made while offline until they can be sent.

Why we collect it

To show your events, tasks and lists to your own team, and to keep checkmarks in sync between teammates.

So the app keeps working when signal is poor and catches up when it returns.

So past events can be cloned, suggested from, and compared with the one you are planning.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to show you advertisements.

Who can see it

Everyone in your company can see everything your company adds — that is the point of a shared planner. People outside your company cannot see it, and access is checked on the server, not just hidden in the app.

Only admins can invite people, change company information, or replace the logo. A logo you upload is stored in private file storage and is only readable by members of your company.

Where it is stored

In a database and file store hosted for us by our backend provider, which runs the sign-in, storage and live updates for wever. Access is limited to signed-in members of your company.

If you use the app offline, a copy of your event data also sits on the device you used, until you sign out or clear the app's data. Signing out clears that saved copy.

Signing in with Google or Apple

When you use their buttons, Google or Apple confirm who you are and pass us your name and email address. Their own privacy notices apply to that exchange, and you can revoke access from inside your Google or Apple account.

How long we keep it

For as long as your company exists. Events you delete are held for 30 days so an admin can recover them, then removed permanently together with their tasks, lists and results.

Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal details. Data you added alongside teammates belongs to the company too, so we handle its removal with your company's admin.

Your choices

You can correct or delete events, tasks, items, results and notes at any time from inside the app. You can ask for a copy of your data, or for its deletion, by emailing the address below. You can stop using the app and sign out whenever you like.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app when the change matters to how your data is used.
